The class of 1950 can't wait until 2010 to have another reunion. We had a great time at the 55th and decided we would have a 57th! We will have a class picnic on September 14, 2007 at the Brier Patch Golf Links; a dinner on September 15 at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center; and a breakfast on September 16 at Tamarack. Comments: My wife Frances retired from teaching 17 months ago. She has been enjoying it so much that I am planning to join her in retirement at the end of this year. Looking forward to the freedom to enjoy other activities. Missed the last reunion but hope to see you all at the next. It is a blessing to have enjoyed this connection and friendship with all of you for these many years.

Comments: Married Ellen Wheby, WWHS '52 about 48 years ago. Been retired since 1996 and we love it (not working, that is!).

The class of 1950 will celebrate their 55th reunion in September. There will be an informal gathering at a picnic at Brier Patch Gold Links on Friday, September 9. A class dinner will be held on Saturday evening, September 10, at the Raleigh County Armory. The final event will be a good-bye breakfast on Sunday morning at Tamarack. Comments: I didn't graduate with your high school.. However I am looking for anyone who went to high school with a Kyle James King. He married a Hope Sabella in the 1950's. They had several children one of which is my mother. My grandmother Hope refuses to talk about Kyle James King. I know that he was grew up in Beckly, WV but that is all I have. Please if anyone has any information at all in regards to my grandfathers family history I would really appreciate it. Thank you all so much in advance and have a wonderful day.

Comments: I have been married 44 years to Doris [Lucille] Foster WWHS class of 1957. We are the parents of two children. Our son James is 40 and married Kathy Quesenberry of Shady Springs. They are the parents of two daughters Jamie 12 and Jenna 9. James graduated from WWHS class of 1978. Our daughter Anna is 37. She graduated WWHS class of 1982 as valedictorian. Anna is married to Dale Vanderlaan of Albion New York. They have no children. I have been retired for seven years. Before retirement I was a route salesman. My wife works for Elder Beerman [formerly Stone and Thomas]. She has worked there twenty six years as a fragrance advisor and in management for Stone and Thomas. She is planning on retiring July 2002.

Comments: I am looking for any information on Eddie Skaggs who was probably in one of the classes in the 50s. He was my biological father and he died before I was old enough to know him. I am looking for any friends or family that may have known him or his family. I know his moms name was Hester Skaggs but I dont know much more than that. Any help would be appreciated.
