before that I lived in Dover, NJ, while attending photography school in Manhattan,
before that Philadelphia, PA, & before that Beckley WV,
left Beckley August 1951 to return to the clinic at Temple University Hospital where I
have been treated for most of my life (since before starting school at Institute grade school,
almost across from WWHS, is it still there??? I think it was there when the 30th reunion was
held in 1981. I found suitable (& intresting)
employment in the Philadelphia area, so I never returned to Beckley except for short visits in 1952,
1963, 1964, & 1981, thismis enough autobiography rant,
will hunt for old photos that were taken of a few of the class of 51,
will try to find them in the next few weeks, if tthis site can accept j peg I'll have my wife scan &
send them to you, pretty sure I can still identify the subjects.

once it is sold I will re-establish residence in Beckley. It is a big job to clean and pack belongings after
residing in the same residence for forty-three years. I have purchased one-half of a duplex condo in
Woodcrest near the Bayberry Retirement Inn. My address in Beckley is 320 Timber Ridge Drive. I am excited about returning
to Beckley. I wish I could bring the doctors who have been caring for me with me. I enjoy the activities planned by

visiting is easy. I spend some of my time working with Habitat for Humanity. The
rest is consumed with yardwork, gardening, and working in my shop.

we have been married 50 year's. We have 2 daughter's, 3 grand-sons & 1 grand-daughter,
3 great grand-sons & 2 great-grand-daughters. we have retired near the ocean, since
we enjoy boating & fishing.
I have stayed in contact with several from our class, am looking forward to the 50th.

BE AT MARGARET JAMES SAYRES HOUSE IN THE PM, AND ON THE 2ND THE MAIN
MEETING WILL BE IN PM AT THE RALEIGH COUNTY ARMORY NEW ADDITION. ON
THE 3RD A BREAKFAST AT THE FAMOUS TAMARACK WITH THE GREENBRIER CHEFS
AND AT 12 OCLOCK A PICNIC AT THE OLD DANCING PLACE, 4-H LAKE. IT IS
NOW CALLED LITTLE BEAVER STATE PARK. THE MAIN SHELTER HAS BEEN

Comments: I retired from the US Air Force in 1976 after 23
years of service. I retired from Civil Service in 1994 after 17 years
with the Federal Mine Health and Safety Academy near Beckley. I am an
active member and deacon at Victory Baptist Church, Beaver, WV. My
wife, Liz, and I have two daughters, Regina and Karen. They both,
with their families, live in Alabama.

Computer Sciences Corporation, Springfield, VA. in 1997. Lived in
Manassas, VA for 17 years. Currently living in Little River, SC.
Graduated from Marshall University (class of 74), with graduate
degree from Boston University (class of 77).

Comments: We are effectively full time RV'ers but spend about
five months here in a home park. Get back to Beckley every year to
visit with children, grandchildren, and great grandson. 114°
here today but we will be leaving to go East in about three weeks.
Here later than usual this year because wife had by pass surgery.
Looking forward to our fiftieth reunion next year.
