there around 1959 or 1960? She was part of the group who were recruited later by the U.S. government

Comments: I am a building contractor, Phoenix Contractors and still loving it. Mainly
building in the Beckley area. This is how things are going for me as of now.
I am married to Anita Blankenship (Dickens), 1971 graduate of Trap Hill High School. We married on January 1, 2005. We feel
that we are a fortunate couple. Anita is a paraprofessional with kindergarten at Cranberry-Prosperity School. My son,
Dustan Fitzwater, age 35, is a commercial roofing contractor in Charlotte, NC. He and his wife, Tanya
have twin daughters 6 weeks old. My daughter Tracie, age 30, Beckley WV, works as a Social Worker with birth thru
age 3 children. She and Evan Scott have 2 daughters age 6 and 1 yrs. old. Anita has Justin Blankenship, age 27, 7
yrs. in Army, served in Bosnia and now attending Roane-Jackson Tech and Lindsey Blankenship, age 22 who graduates this
December 11th from WVU and working for United Bank in Wheeling, WV. The grand-daughters are our only granchildren as of
now. Anita, just as Stephanie Young, Charlie's wife, is a WWHS alumni thru osmosis. She and I love the reunions and we
plan and will try to always be there for them..........good Lord willing.

being a widower for almost six years. My new bride is Mary Ann Petrakovich and she is a business operatins manager with HP. I
retired from the IRS in 1997 as the National Director of the Office of Foreign Business. Soon after my retirment I joined Ernst &
Young and am currently a Principal. I am the Area Director for Tax Controversy and Risk Management Services which covers a six
state area and I also am the Federal Tax Market Leader for the Pittsburgh and Charleston Offices, so I do get to WV from time to

I am a Management and Program Analyst for the Federal Aviation Administration and will be retiring, after
30 years in the Government, at the end of the year. I have 3 grown children -- twins, Kim and Steve, who are 36, and
another son, Bill, who is 39.
I have one grandbaby (boy) who is 2 1/2 and another grandbaby on the way. So, I figure I will be quite busy
after retirement. I am single (was married over 20 years) and live with my two little Yorkies (they think they
run the house).
I have missed the last two reunions, but I did order the video tape --it looked like everyone was having a
great time. I hope to see you at the next one.
I want to say a special hello to Val Fazio, Doris Buckles, and Regina Gardner. I just registered on this

31 years and moved from Houston to Bastrop. About 1 year after retiring Lisa and I were
in a terrible automobile wreck and will be going thru therapy for the next 6 to 12
months...we are in favor of no open alcohol containers in autos as the person that hit us
was drunk and may have been dead from alcohol poisioning before the wreck as he had a blood
alcohol content of .44. -- .08 is legally drunk and .33 is lethal.
enough about this, we both will recover in time although I don't expect to be dancing
the jig anywhere in the forseable future. If you haven't retired I recommend it
to everyone.

with Lisa's folks while we recover and our house is being built. Hope to move in

Comments: I had a blast at the 40 year reunion. We've all changed on the outside,
but everyone is still the same on the inside. I went into the army in July of 60 and have
worked for Uncle Sam ever since...22 Years Army. Retired Field Grade Combat Engineer
Officer, and now have 18 years working as a a Department of the Army civilian. I am giving
them 16 more months and then finally retirement.
Give me a yell if you ever get close to Washington. I live about 30 miles from there and

Comments: I'm still in the work force serving as Senior Psychologist at Western
Carolina Center in Morganton, N. C., switching to Clinical Practice after being a
College Professor for 15 years. I have been living the single life for more than a
decade. My major passions outside work are Music and Art. I am a part-time DJ and
have amassed more music than you would believe. I do private dance parties several times
each month. I also paint, using mixed media (charcoal, pastels, oils) and have an
occasional art show. My other love is gardening-flowers & veggies. Love the computer
too. Also spend a lot of time studying philosophy & religion. WWHS seems like light
years ago, but fond memories remain. Often wonder about many of the people from those
