Results: own business primarily in Pineville but keep a few patients in Beckley, am psychologist, moved back in'95 after youngest graduated. Told kids not to race through school--Erin's 31, still working on Masters; Ryan's just started a Fellowship in Winston Salem in perinatal medicine and maternal health. His wife, Angell, gave birth to my second grandson the day before Ryan's graduation from OB-GYN residency in Huntington. So Xavier is 4yr and Jasper is 4 weeks old. website. I originally got online to google because I was wondering if the class
of '69 had plans for a 40th reunion.
My husband, Jim, is Director of Operations for Unisouce Worldwide, Inc. in
Richmond Va. and I am a Regional Accounts Manager with AIM Healthcare.

Comments: Hello, Class of '69 members! I retired in June '07 after teaching high school business classes for 34 years. I am single again after 29 years of marriage. I have a wonderful son & daughter-in-law (Adam & Gretchen Schlenker), a terrific daughter (Brooke Schlenker), and my first grandchild is on the way in '08 September! I taught at Woodrow for 20 1/2 years but retired from Independence High. I stay busy with church activities, family activities, and do a little substitute teaching on the side. Comments: Wow! It's been a long time. I was so surprised to see this site. I have some fond memories from back then. I have lived in South Carolina for a short while and then moved to Michigan. I have been married twice (not exactly the plan)
I had three children. Then I met my husband of 25 years and we had his, mine, and ours. I had 3, he had 2, and we had one together. We love all six of them. By the end of this year (2007) we will have nine grandchildren. I worked in a Dr. office for years and my husband worked in shipping and receiving at Minute Maid. Darnell likes to fish and I like to do art work and sew. We both like music. Would love to hear from my classmates.

Comments: I try to visit this web page as often as possible to see what everyone is up to. My husband (a Nashville,
TN native) and I are currently living in Columbia, TN, which is a small town about 40 miles south of Nashville. There
have been many changes since my last posting. I now have 2 fabulous grandsons, Hayden (3-1/2) and Brandon 10 months. They
are the light of my life. The boys are sons to my daughter, Karen Darlington Aldridge and her husband Michael. I also
have one step granddaughter, Brylee, who is a real sweetie. She and my grandson Brandon were both born this past
December 29th, 2-1/2 hours apart... what a time that was! I am a real estate broker and worked in that industry for
over 20 years (commercial real estate). After seven years of semi-retirement, I recently went to work for city government
here in our little town. I still get to Beckley as often as possible, but always for very short trips. I still stay in
touch with my pal, Barbie Steele Miller, but I have not seen her in way too long. Would love to hear from old classmates

Comments: We have had a new addition to our family since my earlier posting. My grandson, Hayden
Christopher Aldridge, is 18 months old, and the absolute light of my life. He is the son of my daughter, Karen
Darlington Aldridge and son-in-law, Michael Aldridge. I have been pretty much retired for the last four years
(still keeping books for my husband's company) and have kept Hayden since he was eight weeks old, while my
daughter works. I love it!! She will be leaving work the end of March. They are trying to have another
baby, and she is going to stay home a few years. Although I am vey happy for her, I will miss my time
with Hayden. Other than that news, life remains about the same. Would love to hear from old classmates!

Comments: Married to an Ohio native, I work as a Systems Engineer, defining software for

Comments: I have very fond memories of WWHS and the friends I had. Upon graduation
from high school, I went to East Tennessee State University as a clarinet and oboe major,
but I graduated in 1974 as a voice/opera major. I attended Cincinnati Conservatory
of Music on a full graduate scholarship and have been singing ever
since, performing around 40 concerts per year throughout southern United States and England.
Since leaving Cincinnati, I have developed high-tech research parks for the state of South
Carolina, run Florida's largest local arts agency in Palm Beach County -- yes, I voted there
during the 2000 election! -- and am now the executive director of the Missouri Arts Council
and live in St. Louis. Five years ago, I married an Englishman -- Philip Wicks -- who is a
retired European racecar driver, hotelier, and publican. Having no children of my own,
Philip shares his four children and eight grandchildren with me. Many of you know my parents,
Don and Bette Boyd, who now live in Columbia, South Carolina and are still active in music.
We cruise a lot and take over the piano lounge where Daddy plays and Mother and I sing.
It's wonderful to have such a great time with my parents. I'd love to hear from
