Comments: I decided to update. I am still in Virginia Beach and married to Timothy now for 31 years. We have two children Travis and Timmea, but we have added a daughter-in-law and a beautiful granddaughter, Tatiana. Travis has served two tours in Iraq and is now stationed in Virginia Beach. We are expecting our second grandchild in January. I am not longer in the classroom. I still work for Virginia Beach City Public Schools as a Transition Specialist for Alternative Education. I love the challenge of my new job. I pray that all my classmates are doing well.

Comments: Hi all, I am interested in keeping in contact with all my old friends. We moved from
Beckley my Junior Year so didn't get to graduate with the class. We moved to Texas and I had enough
credits that I graduated the summer of 1971. Some of you might remember me is because I had polio
and walked with limp. We moved a lot and lost contact with a lot of my friends. I am still in contact
with a few but would love to hear from old friends like Nancy Brewster, the Kirby triplets, Doug McGuigan.

for 16 years (mostly high school) and worked for the Federal Government for about 11 years. I have moved around a
lot because I am married to a minister (OH MY LORD!!!!).
Being married to me keeps his perspective balanced!!
We are now semi-retired and moved back to the beach. I sure hope we have a 35th reunion next year. It would be
the bombdiggity!!! My two boys, Matthew and Jordan, are now 23 and 18. Some of you have got grandbabies

Comments: Thanks to Bruce McDaniel for the pictures of the reunion. 30 years and the class of 72 still looks
great. I missed being there, but the pictures certainly helped. Now would someone put some names with the
pictures. I recognized some faces, but not all. Hey Sharon (Gwinn) do you stay in touch with any of the old
Fairchild International crew? I do not know if the company is still in business, but it was sure more fun
working for that little company than it is working for a corporate giant.
Tallahassee is the closest to being back in WV that I can get without ending up in snow. It really is a
great town and has some of the rolling hills that remind me of home. Still there is no place like "Almost Heaven".
Enjoy the cool summers. I'll stay in the pool.

Yes, it has been almost THIRTY long years since we graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School on June 9, 1972. To celebrate this occasion, we will be having our 30 year class reunion this summer on June 29, 2002.
The festivities Saturday night will be at the Black Knight Country Club. There will be a social hour from 6:30 p.m. until dinner is served at 7:30 p.m. A buffet dinner will be served and a cash bar will be available. Music will be provided until midnight by a disc jockey that will be more than happy to spin your favorite memory. The cost for Saturday night is $35.00 per person.
We will have a class picture taken at 7:15 p.m. The cost is $10.00 for an 8x10 photo. Shifoto will be handling all of the arrangements for this on Saturday night. If you are unable to attend the reunion and are interested in a class photo, please send a $10.00 check payable to Shifoto, P.O. Box 605, Coal City, WV 25823.
The Committee has decided that all funds in excess of $400.00 remaining after the reunion bills are paid will be donated to the Citizen's Scholarship Foundation from the CLASS OF '72 to be used as scholarships for WWHS seniors. If you are interested in contributing an additional amount (which is tax-deductible) toward this scholarship, please see the enclosed form.

Comments: I got married immediately after graduation and am still married
to the same wonderful man. We have two children (both graduates of Woodrow Wilson). We
also have 1 granddaughter, a step-granddaughter, a step-grandson, and a grandson on the way
(April). I have mostly been a stay-at-home mom, although I did a lot of volunteer work for

Since H.S......I finally slowed down on the partying about....well lets

I worked for the local goverment for 15 years and finally got a belly full.

Comments: What a long road its been since '72. I was married to former Brenda
Foster ('72) and have two great kids. Stephanie(21) and James(23), they live in New Smyrna
Beach and Orlando respectively. Brenda lives in South Daytona. I have been
married now to Kim Eisenhauer (WWHS '81) for 14 years and we have a son, Dane, that is
10 years old. Moved from Beckley in 1986, lived in Morgantown until 1989. Have lived
in Wilmington, NC ever since.

I graduated from WV Tech in the fall of 1983 with a degree in Electrical Engineering,
and went to work for Boeing. Since 1990 I have worked as a Software Engineer. It would
be nice to hear from anybody from the class of 72.

Comments: A 'SLIMY CREW' sympathizer and 8 time veteran of a
trip up the hill to paint the tower. Joined the Navy after
graduation and spent six years on Nuc. Subs out of Gorton, Ct. where
I got into diving. Went to commercial diving school in '79 in L.A.
Ca. Started my 22 year career of oilfield diving in underwater
welding and mixed gas/decompression diving. After about 12 years my
body talked me into giving it up to the younger guys so I made a
lateral move to Remote Controlled Subs and a little one manned
submarine that can go down to 2,300 feet and can stay for 72 hours
without decompression. I guess you could say that I'm a 46 year old
kid that loves his work (or play and gets paid for it!). The Man
upstairs has definitely smiled on me. I love the people and attitude
in this part of the country, spicy people and spicy food, they love
the Saints win or mostly lose. The Saints just won their first post
season game in their 34 years! Its Mardi Gras most of the year but
my heart is in the hills and I plan on moving back to Beckley in
early '01 and commuting back down to the swamp for work.

Comments: I am truly glad to see this site! I stumbled across
it late one night (2:30 AM) while looking for something on the net. I
have already found several email addresses for classmates that I have
been wondering about. Right after I graduated I left Beckley. One
year later I married Linda Carson, to whom I am still married. We
have two children, one daughter that is 21, and one son who is 13.
We have lived in Belpre, Ohio Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania
Charleston, WV, and Institute, WV. We have resided on the small
island (13 square miles) of Carriacou, Grenada in the West Indies
since the fall of 1991. My mother still lives on Hager Street, and my
family and I visit Beckley every four to five years unless something
makes it necessary for us to return for a visit sooner. I worked in
electronics from 1973 to 1991. From 1988 to 1991 I also worked as a
service manager for a Canon business machine dealer in Charleston,
WV. Over the years I have also worked as a radio announcer,
production assistant at a TV station, and a volunteer fireman in
Institute, WV (the last six months served as chief). In 1991 I left
my secular job to enter Christian ministry full time. I have been
working as a missionary church planter since 1991. I have been a born
again Christian since 1977. I have also written and self published
two books, and hope to complete a novel in the next year or so. I am
currently in the process of building a huge website that highlights

site has been up for a few years, but the full 70-page site should be
uploaded in the next few weeks. I stay quite busy, but I would
