get Greyson off to freshman year at Arizona State that weekend. Quick
update...still in Las Vegas but now with the Yucca Mountain Nuclear Waste
Repository project; see www.ymp.gov. Greyson’s acting career was put on hold
when we left LA six years ago (you must be in NYC or LA to be serious about
acting); instead he focused on football and lacrosse (state champs this year!),
and he will be playing lacrosse for ASU. Audra is our 12-year-old social
butterfly, and she excels in the classroom and with the paintbrush. Patty’s
practice has transitioned to primarily sports psychology and hypnosis. She
works with a lot of swimmers, one of whom made the Olympic Trials this year.

Comments: It's my sad duty to inform you of the passing of my mother, Pege Sue Snuffer (former Pennington),
today at 1:50pm. She was a graduate in 1957 and my father in 1958.
Although she was suffering from a recurrance of lung cancer and it had spread
to her spine and liver: she died of complications from pneumonia with family in attendance.
Her funeral will be held this Thursday at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers place make donations to the Humane Society.

Comments: I spent more than 14 years as a newspaperman, (most of that working nights as a copy editor
or night editor) at papers in West Virginia, Florida, Connecticut and Virginia. Finally got tired of it, and
quit work to go back to school to become an architect. I'm still working on my master's thesis.
I've been married since 1990 to my wife, Jeanne and we have two kids, Leo, who will be 3 in a couple of months, and Lilian, 11 months.
I recently discovered the obituary of my old friend Mark Warvariv '79 on the WWHS alumni page. The obit
was pretty sketchy. Anyone know anything more? I probably hadn't seen Mark in 20 years.

after graduation and entered into the Special Forces. 25 Years later, I'm still in the Special Forces and I am now the
Command Sergeant Major for the unit responsible for training new Special Forces soldiers. It's been a great adventure and
I'm wondering what I want to do next. I am divorced now and have 3 great kids, Brittany, Brooke, and Charles III. They

youngest son, Micah Forrest Blanks, was born in 1990. Micah is in the seventh grade at Beckley-Stratton

Comments: I just found this site; now maybe I can communicate with some of you
more than once every 10 years (the reunions have been a blast)! I'm married to Patty,
a beautiful Sicilian from New York, almost 18 years now with 2 kids--Greyson, 10, and
Audra, 5. We've lived everywhere (FL, RI, NY, CT, SC, GA, AL, MO, CA). Since the 20th
reunion, we moved from New York City to just outside of Los Angeles. Love the SoCal
lifestyle--a lot of snowboarding, motorcycling in the desert, skateboarding (still,
believe it or not), and just enjoying the great weather. The best description for my
job is nuclear engineering consultant--I work all over the country, spending far too
much time away from home. Greyson is my little actor. He was on ER, Judging
Amy, The Huntress, and Strong Medicine this past season. We're still waiting for that
big break, but if it doesn't come, it's been a lot of fun anyhow.

for over 15 years. Our son Joseph is in his first year at the University of Virginia
as an Echols Scholar. Yep, I'm one proud mama! I have been with the US Patent
Office since 1985. I'm currently working on a software development and deployment project
for electronically filing patent applications. I got together with Betsy Barnes Miller
in Las Vegas in November of 2000 and stay in touch with Lori Flanagan-Lewis

Stratton Ele. (use to be junior high before they combined with Beckley)...I have a wonderful
daughter, Marvina that is in the 7th grade...Makes very good grades and loves
sports very much..She plays basketball and volleyball and wants to run track for
Beckley/Stratton Jr.
She has also been bless by God to be a wonderful softball player....I also have a son
Andrew the 4th, that 9 years old...He is just starting to play
sports because we have to work on his grades....He is really doing very good........Hope

JOSH, 12 is an avid Baseball, Football and Basketball player.

and I am still there, with great expectations of retirement.

and trying to stay sane working with public.

Here's my stats: Married my first girl friend Gina (3 kids).
Worked as a machinist at Hazleton Pumps near the airport
then later in CA. and GA. Returned to school and
graduated from Beckley College with an ASEET. (electronics)
Worked as an electronic repair tech while attending
WVIT. Graduated with a BS in electrical engineering in 93
and I'm now working in Dahlgren VA at the Joint Warfare
Analysis Center doing geeky computer stuff for uncle sam.
I bought a house in Beckley and I'm there every weekend.
I'm into caving, guitar and dirt bikes.
I haven't attended a reunion yet but would like to.
I'm all set to start my midlife crisis but my daughter
says I'm too old to be mid life. LOL
