He was also a good basketball player who helped our 1988 team to the state semi finals in Charleston. Just an unbelievable nice guy.

Pack a picnic lunch for Saturday's Family Fun Day! Bring your family out to Little Beaver State Park from 12:30 to 4:00. Cost to attend free!

Saturday evening's event will be at the Black Knight Country Club from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Cost to attend is $75.00 per person. Price includes dinner, drinks, and music. Dress is business casual.

I just got married two weeks ago to a wonderful woman who I actually met at work. After leaving WWHS I went to college in Illinois, and a few years after graduation ended up working there on the admissions team. 2002 is the year I left for Kansas. Comments: Few updates for us. Jake Turner (class of 1989) and I have added to our brood since last I wrote. We now have Caroline Rose who turned 6 in June, Cadey Grace who turned 3 in July and the lone boy of the bunch Tavin is 16 months old. We celebrated our 13th anniversary this year. We moved back to Beckley for about 2 years. We had Cadey Grace while we were there and Tavin was well on his way when we came back to Colorado. We truly feel torn between the two states. Such great things about both places. Just returned from visiting the mountain state and I just can't believe the changes that are taking place. It's fantastic. Anyway, I would love to talk with people from the old days. And I am looking forward to the 20 year reunion in two summers!

Comments: I can't believe all of the people that has signed in. Seeing a lot of these names brings back so many wonderful memories. Anyway, I am married, for the second and last time, have 4 children: Kenny, 16, Jason, 15, Jessica, 13, and Mason, 7. I entered college in '97 and can't seem to get out. I have a B.S. in Criminal Justice, Senior Standing in Forensic Investigations, and will complete my masters (Disability Laws and Funding) in May. I will start my Ph.D., in Criminology, in August. I should Ph.D. in student loan deferments. LOL. I work at Sierra Tucson. It's a posh hospital for all types of addictions and traumas. We're talking $40,000 for 30 days. Comments: Hey everybody! I just wanted to drop a line to catch up with some old friends. I only get to see a small handful of our classmates anymore. I got married the year after I graduated WWHS to Susan (Jennings) Delp, Class of 1990. We've been married almost 14 years now. I wouldn't change a thing! We also have a 12 year old boy, Andrew, that's going to Park Jr. High now. They sure do grow up fast. He's already taller than his mother and is gaining ground on me quick! I graduated from WV Institute of Technology in Montgomery, WV with a degree in Civil Surveying Engineering Technology. I got married my second semester in college. I am currently working for Vecellio & Grogan, Inc. in Beckley as a Project Engineer, doing a variety of different work on heavy highway / bridge construction up and down the east coast. So I travel a good bit. I spent the last two years as Project Engineer on a $50-mil. highway project outside of Richmond, VA and before that, stints in Blacksburg, VA and Spartansburg, SC to name a few. It's good to finally be back home though! We built a new home at Cool Ridge, WV and just moved in last November. I hope to hear from some of the old gang when you get a chance to Email me. My then-fiancee (now wife) Moira and I bought a house in the suburbs of Worcester, MA where we both went to college. We got married a few months later, and last year had a beautiful baby boy, Forrest. He is almost 10 months old now. Mom is staying home with Forrest - at least as long as dad stays employed... I'm doing Unix systems administration as a contractor now, and loving it.

Worth area city of Arlington, which is a GREAT place to live, we have everything to that I never had while living in WV, I can take my son to any major sports game, many zoos, theme parks, etc. I'm a District Manager for a national extended-stay hotel chain, Suburban Lodges. I'm been working for them since August 1996, in that time, we lived in Greenville, SC, and 2 places in Charlotte, NC opening hotels. Comments: After high school, I attended Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, VA, where Stephanie Leftwich '88 was my roommate. Next, I got a master's in teaching, also from MBC. I got married on January 1, 1995 to Matt Taylor. We moved to Lincolnton, NC where I taught 7th and 8th grades for three years. Then we moved back to WV (Thank God!!!) where I work as a Manager of a statewide program called "Partnerships In Education" for The Education Alliance - please visit our web site - www.educationalliance.org! Matt and I are expecting our first child in November and will take name suggestions. We also have a black lab named Cole (age 5) and a yellow lab named Goldie (age 3). Please get in touch with me.
