Only one mad parent setting a record so far with that this year!! We scrimmage Shady at Shady on Tuesday over on the High School field, so yall come out and watch the Bandits!! Were looking good overall, the kids are responding well and I am very proud of all of them!!!

As far as midget league football goes, I am happy to report that I have a few kids I'm coaching out there that are children of our classmates and two team mates from back in the day.. What a joy that is seeing some old faces I remember... Well its time to start hitting on Monday, I think the kids are chompin at the bit to mix it up!!! If we can keep the unnecessary roughness penalties to a minumum this year we should do alright!!! Go Southwest Bandits!!!

Comments: Well, baseball and softball are finally over and football is just 11 days away from the SouthWest Bandits first practice... We will be out on the front lawn by the pond practicing again this year! So if yall want to see the next generation of Eagles practice it would be nice to see you!! Anyway, the kids did their best in Baseball and Softball this year as always and the end result is that they all improved in one way or another!! That is the goal and I feel we accomplished that.. Comments: Winding down from wrestling and gearing up for baseball!!! My son Antonio did really well for his first year of wrestling!!! Record 23-8.. All losses came by points only!! State Chamionships he wrestled with alot of heart.. Seeded 4th and placed 4th.. No opponent he wrestled had less than three years experience.. 7&8 yr olds 62 pound class.. I am so proud of him!!!! We entered 32 wrestlers from the Jr. Eagles and 8 placed, not bad for a new team!! As a team we placed 2nd in the coalfield conference finals.. Antonio got 3rd in the conference finals as well!!! Man what a courageous kid!!! Well you all take care and maybe Ill see some of you out on the baseball diamond!!!! The torch has been passed, tradition does improve with the enviroment and marches on!!!!

Comments: Well football is over now finished 10-1 not bad for a bunch of Beckley mites!!! Now were coaching the little Beckley Eagles wrestling team, record 6-2 as a team and clipping along strong.. Truly teaching the kids about winning with heart and never quitting... My son is doing well for a 1st yearer record 14-5. Man he is tough little guy, but Ill never tell him until it is over.. Any way im tazzmlb on my space and also jeffmlb for yahoo im.. You want to cath up feel free to call or whatever!!! Go EAGLES!!! Were feeding the football, baseball and wrestling machine with some real quality atheltes.. I went into the old football locker room recently and read a sign that really ticked me off.. It said something to the effect of "Tradition never improves.." Well let me tell ya, those old traditions are being poured into all of the kids I coach and it works great!!! Not putting down on the new coaching staff over there but not to remember the past makes it almost not worth doing it in the first place!!!! Anyway you all take care and for the ones that moved away like me, "Get back here"!!! LOL!!! What makes Beckley truly great are the people in it.. Comments: I came across this site whilst doing research on the Department of Propaganda in the Woodrow Wilson Administration - (the former Pres, not the high school.) I've been in Wisoonski for the past 6 years makin' cheese. Hey, it pays the bills. No wife and no kids, but I have a beautiful, but kinda weird, parrot named Copernicus (and he talks!)

Tonya/Henry: I ran into Curt about 8 years ago while attending grad school at UC Santa Cruz in California. He was studying under Angela Davis at the time,(yes, that Angela Davis), but they had a falling out. (His ideas on abolishing the prison-industrial complex were apparently too radical for Davis.) He moved to NY briefly, but left shortly after the towers fell. The last I heard he was playing in a Bossa Nova band somewhere in Brazil.

Comments: Just updating location and email. We decided that Texas did not fit our family, so we have relocated once again. Now working for GE Aviation (formerly Smith's Aerospace, no relation). The project I am working on is the Landing Gear System for the 787 Dreamliner.

As far as family goes, I have one boy in College (Nathan, 18), one boy starting highschool (Anthony, 15), and ony boy in third grade (Justin, 8). My wife Catherine has also returned to school to work on her Environmental Biology degree.

Comments: Just wanted to let everybody know that we would love to have you all come out and watch the Midget League football teams play on the next few Saturday afternoons. We are winding down this season, two more regular season games and then playoffs. I help coach the South-west Bandits C Team (they combined the two teams a few years ago) and we are undefeated, hopefully we stay that way. For anybody who did not know they are rebuilding Van Meter Stadium, now called Bob Pruitt Stadium at Park Jr High. It is a real blast from the past for those of us that went to Park... Comments: I recieved my B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Prescott, AZ campus) in 1995. Started working at Honeywell International in 1996 performing integrated testing and design of avionics systems for business jets. I self terminated my position with Honeywell Fall of 2005 in order to take a job with Bell Helicopter in Ft. Worth, TX. I perform nearly the same tasks as I did at Honeywell except its on helicopters and I now get to crack the whip on suppliers like Honeywell. Luckily, my career is my passion, working with aircraft. I have traveled to France several times (representing Honeywell for avionics used on Dassault Falcon Business Jets), been involved in flight testing aircraft (Dassault Falcon 900EX) and have loved every minute of my career so far.

As for my personal life, I married my the love of my life Catherine in June of 1998. Catherine and I met at Honeywell in Phoenix, AZ. We have three boys Nathan 17, Anthony 13, and Justin 6. Nathan and Anthony are from Catherine's first marriage, but they are nevertheless my boys as well. We are very happy and finally becoming accustomed to Texas culture and climate (somewhat). Comments: Hello all. It's been a long time, hasn't it. I had no idea this web site existed, but I'm glad I found it. It's nice to see that so many classmates are doing well and have successful careers. As for me, after kicking around a couple universities (Jacksonville University and West Virginia University) for 6.5 years, I finally graduated with a BS in Business Management. After graduation, I moved to Jacksonville, Florida and met my wife, Ann, at a Halloween Party in 1997. We were engaged the following March and married in October 1998. We still don't have children, but pamper the heck out of our two cats, Harry and Mysti. And if "two-legged" children aren't in the cards for us, we figure we'll be the best damn uncle and aunt around. We've taking a number of exciting vacations, including sailing for a week in the British Virgin Isles with another couple we know in 2002. No crew, just the four of us, a 55 ft sailboat, and a lot of rum.

Presently, I am a Human Resource Project Consultant working for BlueCross BlueShield of Florida. Ann also works at BlueCross BlueShield of Florida as a Quality Analyst.

For those of you who knew my family, they've all relocated to the Ralaigh-Durham area and are doing quite well (Mike has two boys, Ethan and Caden, and Stephen has one boy, Hunter). They have all been missed and I prayed for their folk's then and now. The three of them were loved by many. Remember David and Heather who lost their big brother. Remember Joe who lost his little brother. Most of us have children approaching the teen years or may even be there now. So remember the night, and the coward that left them there. Comments: Well I just stubbled onto this website by chance and it was neat seeing people of old and everywhere. Well I graduated from Lincoln univeristy in 1994, and joined the Air Force in Mar 95. I met my wife (LaLeche) of six years now in San Antonio, TX, and we have travel from TX to Elemendorf AFB Alaska, to Andrews AFB, MD to our current stop at Sheppard AFB, TX.
